Former Case Manager Alleged Keystone Fired Her For Taking FMLA Leave; Case Settled

Plaintiff worked as case manager for three years at Keystone. Plaintiff claimed to suffer from health problems and took FMLA leave beginning in mid-March 2013 through mid-April 2013. Plaintiff alleged that her employment was terminated within one week of returning to work. Plaintiff claimed that management expressed concerns that she was missing too much work and was unable to keep up. Plaintiff further alleged that management replaced her during the FMLA period and the same person took her position following her employment termination in mid-April 2013. This case settled on Feb. 16, 2016.
