Meadows' Community Behavioral Program cited for treatment planning violations

Meadows Psychiatric Center’s Universal Community Behavioral Health was cited by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) for violations of treatment plan regulations. DHS found that three records did not have treatment plan goals that were short term or realistic. The treatment plans also did not have “specific objectives related to each goal and described in terms of specific measurable outcomes and timelines.” DHS also found that three records with treatment plans that were not approved by the Program Director within 5 days as required by law. In one case, a treatment plan was completed on July 8 but was not approved until August 20. The program submitted a plan of correction to address these cited deficiencies.
